Job Purpose

The Data Management Officer is responsible for performing data entry and verification work on the database. Entering data, updating, verifying the filed data and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. DMO will be responsible for performing data entry and verification work on the database. entering data, updating, verifying the filed data and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded
2. Ensure in time arrival in project and mark attendance and leave office by informing leads.
3. Ensure professionalism while working in office premises and do not create any type of disturbance for other colleagues.
4. Ensure the quality and accuracy of data.
5. Maintain the Log Book in excel of their daily work.
6. Follow the instructions given by DLO/Data Analyst for entering data and try to finish daily assigned work before leaving.
7. Manage the computer set provided for data entry and ensure that no intentional damage to hardware or software is incurred while using it.
8. Inform PM and DLO for leaves and get approval.
9. Randomly verify that the data entered by DMOs are correct and that in terms of spellings, number of fields or coding and all other aspects of data entry, no mistake has been done.
10. Identify all mistakes, communicate to the DLO as well as relevant DMO and keep a check so that such mistakes are not repeated
11. Ensure that numbers of Tally Sheets in online software/portal are the same as per daily district report given by DLO of districts.
12. Any Other Task Assigned by DLO related to Data Compilation to distribute the workload.

Essential Requirements

  • Intermediate or above education with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Candidate must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Typing speed and accuracy of at least 40 WPM. Must have knowledge of basic database techniques, terminology and procedures.
  • Ability to make comparison, identify and rectify errors in datasets.

Job Purpose

District Liaison Officer is integral member of the project team responsible for effective delivery in due time at district level. The District Liaison Officer is responsible for technical tasks like distribution, collection of data and report generation on time as well as any other task assigned by the supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Before Campaign, DLO must have the micro plan of the assigned district to plan out the task of Data Management Officer’s as per the expected tally sheets of each day.

2. District Coordinator should assign Data Analysts for the specified Data Management Officer to ensure the proper workload distribution Collect and compile data received by Field with help of Data Analyst.

3. Assign and monitor Data Entry and validate correct entry randomly by assigned team and district.

4. Keep close communication with Data Analyst and field staff for timely receiving data from field.

5. Inform concerned person if there is any delay in data receiving or bad data.

6. Update on Daily basis for data status.

7. Inform Project Manager if there is any issue in data entry or with DMO’s which can create backlog so timely action can be taken to minimize the backlog.

8. Make a check and balance on DMO’s for data quality and accuracy.

9. Communicate to senior management through emails regarding project updates and reports

10. Maintain and update reports on time required by authorities for sharing to officials.

11. Any report preparation ordered by authorities

12. Perform any other assignment given by the authorities

Essential Requirements

  • A higher University Degree (preferably Master’s / 16 Years of education) in social science or public health with relevant 2 or 3 years of experience in a reputable organization.
  • The incumbent should have coordination skill with diverse stakeholder including government (specially district administration), non-government agencies.
  • S/he must have basic statistical knowledge as well as basic knowledge of statistical software’s like SPSS, STATA, MINITAB, R etc.
  • Must have proficient skills in Microsoft Office. Candidate must have team management, multi-tasking, time management, analytical, collaborative and leadership skills and demonstrated experiences working on team and organizational skills.
